I was at carlisle today, found some parts, and looked at some nice fords. I was told by one vendor that maverick owners were cheap! I told the vendor what did he expect that mavericks were cheap cars, I was told that they werent anymore. I looked at 2 clapped out boss 302 mustangs your choice $30,000.00. So come on guys and gals step up, we need to start hanging monster prices on our mavs and comets. I looked at a 73 fastback stang with a 6cyl and auto however the engine and trans wern't in the car, a copy of the window sticker showed 3 options, am radio, wheel covers and auto, the car was re-sprayed, however not the orignal color he was asking $12,500.00. Am I crazy or is a maverick ldo gas cap [nos] really worth $265.00?

I guess if someone actually pays that price then that perticular gas cap is worth it to the buyer.

Pete I think my wife and I were talking to you at the Auto Krafters booth. You were looking into weatherstrips?

Before the recession, and before you even knew what a Maverick was, they would sell on Ebay for $200 + without even trying, I sold a few for good money, and have more stockpiled away, they aren't making any more, and I doubt they ever will.
