So last week i started tearing down the maverick(74) First took off the big bumpers, then the front clip. a couple wrinkles from a few accidents. rusty cowl panel not bad tho. little rust on front floor bored, going to replace the trunk pan and the rear floor pans.(not bad since i have a parts car i can use) i drilled out the cowl panel which took a while, no more interior, no more anything. Hope fully ill be tearing down the part car soon so i can get the rust fixed. As for the drive train thats ging in it, its going to be a 1986 Ford 302 HO with a F303 cam, edelbrock e street heads, a edelbrock rpm high rise intake with an edelbrock 600 cfm carb, along with the flat top pistions, with a complet msd ignition system. Ill be putting pictures up soon. What does every one think?

Yeah i just turned 17 this is what ive been working on for the past year and a half. buying parts trying to get the engine ready and waiting. But pizza hut dont pay much and with hour cuts its hurting me. i have almost 3000 in to it and about 24 hours in to the tear down. Not bad considering i dont know alot and im doing what my dad tells me to while he organizes the new shop.
