There was a thread on another car forum that had a bunch of pics of classic and muscle cars that were destroyed. One that comes to mind was a big block Fairlane that completely flooded. The guy cleaned it up and put on ebay. No way I'd want a flood car....no matter what it is.
We went through Hurricane Agnes, in Pa, back in 72 and for years later, you could still see faint water lines on interior panels of cars that were still sold after the waters receeded. One such car, that I remember, was a 65 Buick Gran Sport, that a friend used to drive to school every day. Beautiful maroon paint with a black vinal roof, 401 with a 4 speed. One day, his window regulator came apart and we pulled his driver's side panel off his door and all we found was caked flood mud.
