i just switched from power steering to manual and i need a new pulley wheel from my water/fan so that i can run it where can i find this part??? its a 302 just if that helps
Measure from the front of the waterpump flange to the center of the V belt groove on your crank pulley.
I got mine from NPD (National Parts Depot). You have to measure from the mounting surface of the water pump to the center of the groove that the alternator belt runs in. Good Luck, Lee "THE MAV" Richart
All the pulleys I have are deeper than that and run off the rearmost crank sheeve. That's the way I'm running the setup on my 331 using 70's 302/351 pulleys.
The alternator bracket sets sold for the 302's are what you need. These include a triangle shaped stamped steel bracket that mounts to the waterpump, along with an curved long adjustment bracket that goes onto the bottom bolt hole of the triangle bracket. The Big alternator bolt goes thru the outer hole of that bracket into the head, with the alternator spaced off the head with a thick aluminum spacer (about 1" long). If I was more computer litterate, I'd look one up and post a pic of this here. Maybe I'll have time to do that tomorrow.
