I've been collecting parts for my 70 Grabber. Yesterday took a 625 mile round trip, to Coeur d'Alene Idaho. Was on the road a little over 10 hours. Left at 7am, returned at 11pm. I was going for a set of seats (with extra plaid fabric), door panels, grill emblem & seat belts. When I got there I was shown those parts. Then I was taken to the back of the property & shown a 70 parts car. I was told take anything you want (no charge). I went crazy. It had near perfect boomerang's. Took the qrt windows & seals, armrests & a trunk full of misc parts. Also got a perfect grill. Got the front lowel valance. Could've take both bumpers, but passed. Not bad for a days drive & parts pickin'. Also got to see all the projects he working on & finished. Didn't take my camera, damn! I want to thank Jerry & Colleen for everything. The parts & hospitality. My wife, Kathy & I, had a great time. Will try to make it over, for a show & shine event. Here's a picture of the stuff in the car, before I off load it.
Yes it does! Thanks to you also, Mike. I've gotten parts from you, for the Grabber too.... Friends are always great to have...
I finished going through the parts box from the trunk. It contained the following: Firewall to shock tower braces, side marker bezels, washer bottle, tail light assemblies, front licence plate bracket & front bumper brackets. I've posted pictures of the front seat, extra fabric & boomerangs... Both seat are in really good shape.
