I am going to try to hook my pcv valve to my 650 holley but there is also a spot for the vacumm advance from distributor to carb, right now its hooked to the intake, what should i do?:16suspect
The PCV will be a bigger connection, did you check the Holley website? At the rear of the carb, under the float bowl, is there a port?
yes i know where the pcv valve port is im wondering what are the advantages to plugging the vacuum advance to the carb, right now its in the intake as for holley site... searching.......
Why would you want to hook it up to the intake? If Holley made a port designed just for it why not just use it?
ahhh now it makes sense. Whats the specs on your setup? is the carb new? rebuilt? and if so who rebuild it? Maybe it has some junk in the block.
was rebuilt by holley about 2 years ago, then sat for a couple months, then ran, then leaked, i put new gaskets in. Block looked fine
What kinda vacuum are you pulling? Did you check the power valve in the carb? (they are sized according to the vacuum your engine runs at)
