buffed on the purple paint

tried some liquid turtle wax rubbing compound on the mav today wow what a shine.heres some pics and also my old plate I'm going to put on it.

 

Hows your arm feel , makes it look a lot better, too bad the stuff doesnt remove rust too

it hurts so i had to stop i will do a little at a time until im done.yeah if it removed rust they would make billions of the stuff.hopefully i can get it painted by next year.i plan on doing the body work next fall.

You gonna try and match the color? If you sand it all off, how will you be able to do that? What's your plan?

 

i have already talked with the guy i want to paint it and we will just do the engine bay and exterior so i will have the inside of the trunk to use for the color match going to do the bottom with por 15 black.and yes definitly the same color i wouldnt have it any other way, who knows i may do a full blown strip down of the car to paint it all purple but i really only think i will have to partcialy strip it like doors fenders hood trunk lid. will see

thanks im trying my best as money allows.just wish i could do a full resto maybe in the future after i have raced it a couple of years.and have a replacement race car.
