............. Yeah it is a good carb and sad to say even if it leaks because it is a 1407 you can sell it on ebay for atleast $50 .....seems like there was a post pertaining to something on carburetors a month or two ago......
Id use a Edelbrock on a driver any day. Brother bought a factory rebuilt one for the 390 I built years ago. It ran better out of the box than the Holley I had on it. Now for racing purposes Id still rather have a Holley
Looks like a typical Edelbrock.... now if it was on the motor and we could see where it was wet, we might could help you. lol
Im sick of switching carbs and having failure i might just switch the baseplate on the 750 holley to a 650
Why is the carb you have no not working correctly? it may be over carbed, but should atleast run decent
I replaced all the gaskets yesterday but apariently i need the accelerator pump gasket too that i replaced 3 months ago! this was on the 650 holley The 750 holley doesnt leak at all so i might just switch the baseplates to make it a 650.
Ive been running it for the last 2 months when the 650 crapped the bed. I dont like it, it boggs and i dont go anywhere fast. Gas milage is also a problem with 13mpg. 750 is not where i want to be but its all i have right now that doesnt leak
