i've got a couple questions that i'm sure have been brought up.since i've gone as far as i have on the the resto of the body a)how much difference is there when you install the stangII suspension i've heard that works on our cars b)is the complete kit to do it readily available and c)how much work goes into the install?i'll probably make that my next project when the ext. is complete.thanx for any input
Buy the complete kit, I bought a scaled down version and ended up buying the other parts piece-meal and paid a bunch more in the long run. The (heavy) work is not bad at all, it took me 15 hours to remove all the factory stuff (by drilling the spot welds, no less!) and installing the new crossmember and suspension. On a "do-over", I'd break out the plasma rig and save about 8 of those hours and $50 worth of bits. IIRC, it took longer than that to do the shock tower covers and steering column mods. Russ
