    I have a 1973 Ford Maverick with a 331 stroker ,195cc Dart Heads, Headers Deep sump oil pan,behind it a top loader close ratio 4 speed . having trouble with z bar eating bushings.If anyone could help I would appriciate it.

    I'm not sure what would make your eat bushings. I've bent a couple z-bars but the bushings look great. Do you have a totally factory setup?
