    Hi,
I am new to this forum or any forum really. I technically do not own a Maverick or Comet, but have recently done my research and decided that I want one (preferably 74-76) for my first drag car. So I am in the process of buying one, either with a 302 or rolling chassis and with a decent body for less than 1500. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm in Lexington, but I travel to London and Manchester quite often. I would love to see some pictures with prices.

    Thanx

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Both Maverick Maniac and Mean Maverick are good people that will steer you straight.

Personally, I would go with the earlier small bumper cars due to the weight savings of not having those 5mph big bumpers and all the brackets associated with them. In drag racing, weighs savings is the name of the game. :thumbs2:

    Let me Clarify

I have recently cut my finger pad off and accidently posted the wrong years that i would prefer. Any year between 70 and 75..And the reasoning behind the later years is they already have the disc brakes and that would be a little less work for me. And a two door is a must. I'm sorry for the miss type...I should really proofread before posting, but again I am a forum virgin
