What size U-Bolts?

    1973 Maverick Grabber, 347 4V w/F-1X, 1974 Maverick Grabber 302 4V, 1974 Maverick Grabber 302 2V, 1971 Maverick Grabber 302 4V.
    What size U-Bolts are on my Mav & where can I buy some? Can you get them at the local Auto Parts Store? I will be installing Cal Tracs & would like to put new bolts.

    I don't remember the size, but I bought a set at Advance Auto Parts earlier this year. I took what was left of my old set in to match the size. I couldn't find them at Autozone or Oreilly's. Napa could order them but didn't have them in stock.

    X2 7/16 is the stock size i went with 1/2 just drilled out my spring plates

    i think caltracs come with them. if not try asking them for some.

    Guys thanks for the input. I took the advise & went to Advance Auto. I matched them up & their part # is 18972. (y)
