well i got number 32 home today. it's the '72 Grabber that was advertised on racing junk thru this thread: http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=57278 it's a '72 Grabber, green with lime green stripes, 302/auto (engine and tranny are gone), p/s, black bench interior. there's some good parts on the car and it came with a clear title so that's makes it a little harder to part out. here's some pictures.... more pictures here.... http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/mean_maverick/72 grabber/
so i was right that with all my cash for the spare parts you'd find a complete car i just hope that my floor pans don't come out of this one nice find, congrats on the score!
the pass side door is just surface rust, the rest is solid. the driver's door was wrecked yrs ago and poorly repaired. to make a decent car, it would need both fenders, dr side door and hood repair (not to mention qt panel repair and floor patches).
it will be on the parts chopping block in 2 weeks parts are selling better then the hole car right now
thinking about it. im about half and half right now.... after pulling out the carpet and seeing the floors, i could fix this car with very little effort
If it's salvageable, then by all means, do it. They aren't building any more of them. I love that color combo.
here's some more pictures. as u can see the front floors need work but really arent all that bad, the passenger side fender is repairable, so i would only need a dr fender and door. see for yourselves and lemme know what u think... i also found some mustang "looking" engine mounts in the trunk. not sure what they're from/for but they came with the car and the bolt holes line up...
