my gas tank

    has a hole in it:cry::cry:. It is a small hole at the bottom that drips constantly. Any ideas on how to fix it without blowing myself up. If not I will order a new one from rock auto but really don't want to spend the money

    Use a gas tank from your parts cars..

    You can buy some underwater epoxy at autozone. Apply it to the hole.

    there is one on my 73 but I don't know the condition of it. I'm going to take it off in the morning

    You can also use a gas tank liner in it if its not too bad.

    Did you just jump all the gas out and smear it on, or what did you do. any help is appreciated

    I found a tube of liquid metal and smeared it all over the leak and it has stopped dripping. I believe I have it fixed:dance:
