cant go wrong with a roller motor. i have one in my '71, and two spares (among some extra "normal" 302 engines)

Yeah, I should repaint that thing...

But bad thing is stock color was PURPLE and white. I wasn't going to put anything PURPLE in my boat...Trying to lean more toward a bluish color. I guess.

Anyone notice the tail of my Maverick in the bottom right corner of the pic?

seems like a good deal to me. My cousin has a stock 93 stang with a 5.0 5spd. He runs 9.40's at the 1/8 and he spins bad

i have a 91 mustang i am moving the drive train in to the mav and with a set of afr's,good intake and car with a set of headers will put you real close to 400 hp at the crank.even in stock trim your looking at nearly 300 ftlbs of torque.now thats with efi,but it seems that i have picked up power with a carb swap.
plus they have forged internals from the factory which is always a plus.
i am currently building this engine with forged ratating assembly and 100 shot of nos.

Just that 50 oz flexplate. Everything else should swap over. You will need to plug the dipstick hole and use your old dipstick, stuff like that.

It will be too big, most likely. If the old car had the big bell housing, it will have 164 teeth when you need 157 (I think those are the numbers) for the smaller bell housing.

Count em when you get it.

I don't think that any car ever came with the 157 tooth 50-oz plate. They made the 157 tooth for swapping 5.0 into 302 cars.

I could be wrong, but I read that somewhere. So I don't think you can pull it from a junkyard and it won't come with one. It has to be purchased aftermarket.

Just the rods and pistons. Cranks were all cast. And cast isn't a bad thing either.
