    I was up in the Marysville area, on Saturday. Went to a show & shine. I decided to take the back roads home afterwards. I went though Lake Stevens & onto Snohmish. I didn't see Matt, when I passed thru Lake Stevens. :huh: I stopped at my friends house. I was hoping to get some pictures of his race Maverick (Lil Thunder). :bowdown: Unfortunately it was under a cover in the garage. Hasn't raced it in 3 years. He did have his daily driver in the driveway. :thumbs2: So, here's a couple of pics.
    It's a 72 Maverick, with the factory 302 cu in.... bone stock.
    Hopefully next time I stop by, he'll have the race Maverick out & racing.

    cool! i've been out working all day... where was the mav in the pic from?

    oh and BTW i've seen 3 mav's in two days. i was in everett and a gold comet GT passed me, then i keep going down the road and 2 minutes later i pass by a parked big bumper green mav, then the next day i ended up behind some black Grabber mav. its Crazy lol!

    yeah i turned around and cought up to it. it was unrestored v8 with black interior/Deluxe door panels and i think it had bucket seats...

    If you put a Maverick bumper on a Comet (with the guards) they would partially cover the inside tail lights on the Comet. Look back at the above photo where the top of the guard is and you'll realize what I'm talking about. The Comet ones had to be moved inwards to clear the lights.

    Stanwood show on Sunday the 28th

    Hey are any of you Seattle/Snohomish Locals going to be at the Stanwood show on Sunday? Its supposed to be a big show-- Im going with a lot of Mustangs --- would be nice to have some other Mavericks there.. Let me know and I'll look for you. Its 9am to 3 pm. :drive:

    On Saturday I'm going to the Greenwood car show. It's hosted & filmed by Lance Lambert, of the "Vintage Vehicle Show". Should be a great show. I've never been.
    I might go to Stanwood on Sunday. Is it the one put on by, Twin City Idlers?
