opinions on shock tower braces

    I milled the upper and lower manifolds, dropped everything down around a half inch, still using stock shock tower braces with EFI. Just had to find bolts different length for the upper plentumn.

    You could PM him and ask for instructions and what tools he was using. If I recall correctly, it was all Harbor Freight stuff. But he said that the hole cutter was the most expensive part of the construction, and it wore out after the two big holes were cut. If I remember correctly.

    Then I had to add another $75 or so for all those heim joints. so if you could find a pre-assembled package, you might be better off.

    Also, check out the mustang in this month's Popular HotRodding. It has another neat looking solution.

    I raced my car for years without them, and as far as i can see the towers havent moved but i put them back on because this place made me paranoid. Probably not a bad thing in any case.
