Here is a stunning piece of Maverick art from our friends at Chilton Manuals. Now don't everyone go out to get a tattoo of this one! [IMG] The manual is sorta cool and it's a hard cover.

Now i know that these might not be considered Maverick / Comet art but i sorta think so.[IMG] If you look at them they do have the Maverick and Comet logo's on them and there are Mavericks and Comets drawn on them also. So i think their art. (y):bouncy::rofl:

your chiltons mav art reminded me of something i have here. my chilton's manual has a little of every style change in the mav/comets of the 70s. I can't scan pics cause both our printers are on the fritz, so i used a cell phone and paint.net to put the images together into one.

i figured it would get some positive remarks, but not that fast. yea, the book i have is a thick azz hardcover that says "Chilton's auto repair manual 1977-american cars from 1970-1977." so its got the mavs, the comets, the novas, the cougars, the gremlins, etc.etc.etc. haven't had to really dig into it yet, but it will be handy to have around when i do. gotta love havin family members that are in the loop when it comes to stuff like that. my uncle gave me that and a bunch of other manuals from dodge to rv to hatchback to gm. all because i got the maverick. i would've put the real art-the motor sketches in the book- but it's 12:45 and i didn't feel like any more resize, copy, switch pictures, paste, relocate, resize... yea. maybe some other day.

O.K. here's another FINE piece of art,:rofl2:this Comet drawing is from the corner of a sign that i made to tell the prices of hubcaps when i sell them at swap meets. It's pretty lame but it was done quick and ugly but i do like it as it is so odd looking. Is it art, who knows, but here it is.
