battery in the trunk

    I moved mine to the rear not only for the weight redistribution, but also to removed the rusted out battery tray up front. I replaced it with an aluminum tray to hold tools while I work on the engine.

    If you can get it used the Battery and hold down out of an 05 Chysler LX chassis would work great. Its in the trunk and the battery is sealed and vented through a drain tube.

    With the battery tray gone, that little ledge fits an MSD box perfectly.
    Nice and tidy install.
