just got back form the machine shop. he said (just by looking at it) that it should clean up and be fine. he mentioned that if i plan to run a stroker engine with it, it would have to make sure the rings didnt come down that far. if they dont, ill be fine but if they do then ill have to run a stock or small stroker crank. so all in all, i got both good news and some not so good news. it's going back next week to be cleaned up and everything so i guess only time will tell
In the bottom picture just above this post if you follow the 2 marks up towards cam I see a crack about an inch long running cross ways up above where the rings run. Anybody else see that? I know it is a picture on the internet so that mean something. clint
