there is no true way to tell how much if any the port job helped without dyno/track (for Frank) :D #'s of before and after.
Even if you did nothing at all, you got some good experience with a dremel. (y) My hats off to you for giving it a whirl :thumbs2:
in my opinion, if you just cleaned up the runners and ports, you helped it!
now you need to port match the intake

I wouldn't waste my money on stock heads ported or not. My friend just scored a set of assembled aluminum Pro-Comp heads off ebay for $560. that extra $150-$200 is well worth the benefits.

I have a set of fully ported big valve (1.94/1.60) 69 Windsor heads on my car now but they only flow around 210 at .550 lift. Most aluminum heads flow 240 or better at the same lift. And you lose 50 LBS off the nose of the car. The reason I run the Windsors is because they were free :). However they do make enough power to slam unsuspecting friends heads into the headrest and nuke the tires off in the first two gears :) I am installing AFR 185s on the next motor.

Ok i just picked up my heads and the guy has me worried. He said my spring pressure is 135 and that its border line to much, but dont worry. If im not to worry why did he tell me. What do you guys think, should i worry?

its the money concern issue that made him decide to tell you not to worry. the motor will run. it just will encounter valve float at higher rpms. it will limit your top end horse power. if you can afford new springs now would be the time to get them and put them on.

Save yourself some trouble and install the correct springs at this point. If not you will be disapointed. Why port heads if you cant pull enough RPMS to take advantage. Good luck!

Thats why i took it to this guy, he builds motors. He did everything on the heads, except port them. I did that. I was told by several people that not enough spring pressure will cause valve float. By him as well. So what does boarder line to much pressure cause? He said not to worry but im worried.
