We have found a c-4 b&m shift kit unopened on our local craigslist. Are these kits easy to install? and what do they usuall sell for? We can get this one for 25 clams. Is it wise to install this in a tranny with 66,000 miles?

I have used many of these in the past, They work well for what they are. But since i found the trans -go i have been using them since. I have used them in transmissions that had higher mileage than yours with no ill effects, But if yours is slipping or not shifting rite to start with it wont fix the problem, It can and most likely make it worse. Summit has them for 35.00 so be your on judge as to the value. Anyone that has any mechanical ability and can read and follow directions can install one. As always this is my opinion.

I didnt realize kits were that inexpensive. Our tranny seems to be ok, It dont slip, fluid level and color are good ,no leaks. who makes the trans pac and are they pricey?

The trans pac is a better kit from B&M.

Which you use is your preference, Although i will say the B&M will produce hard shifts at part throttle where the TRANSGO don't. To some this is what they want while others want a milder shift till they start getting in the gas hard.
