shock companys usually have a guide that lists the dementions and configurations of there shocks. start searching them and figure out what you need. 3 inches is a lot of drop for a maverick so i dont know if anybody has found shorter shocks. usually the suspension hits the bumpstops before the shocks bottom out.

You may have to go to some sort of street rod shock for say a 32 ford front end with a dropped tube axle...(straight axle that is) hope this helps ya.

COOL! I've got a question anton1 or anyone out there how much alteration is involved in wiring those Cougar tail lights in place of the stock tail lights? I found several sets of lights but didn't buy them

The wiring is not too bad but, there is more work in making them fit in the tail panel.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
use KYB gas a just they will help out alot.

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=KYB%2DKG4517&N=700+115&autoview=sku i think the photo is wrong but i'm sure the part number is correct but double check me.

too bad they don't have them for the rears anymore though.

either way i like the stance.
