Do I need to cut off the braid that will be under the clamp? I tried to tighten the clamp and it does not seem to like me... It stayed loose and finaly over screwed.

No, the stainless stays the same length as rubber hose. Some of the cheap hose clamps ain't good for washer hose, can't really tell on your clamp. Just make sure you have a good clamp. Also, I have used the wrong size rubber hose different times with the clamp "proper sizing" the hose, with stainless braided or most reinforced hoses The clamp will not tighten up to compensate.

Thanks. I did buy these clamps at a hose making place. I'll check the size a little closer.

All was right. I guess I just wasn't paying attention . Also, I was using my Snap On long (about 24") screwdriver without the tip (flat) inserted. It looks like I cranked it too tight and couldn't tell.
I'll be out there this afternoon to get the hoses completed (straped down) then a pic will be posted, cause I like pics. :D

Got side tracked... I'm not sure I like it but I need to move on.
Currently I have the hose that comes from the front of the trans going straight in. It has slack for movement, but I think it may could use a little more.
