I have a 302 with about 400 HP and a 100 shot of nitrous. I was wondering if any one could steer me in the right direction for the right radiator.

    Thanks

Did you get a universal one with close specs to the original as far as the size?

Scott, I bought the last version of this radiator that Jimmy2Gates is talking about and love it. It's a direct bolt in with no mods. If this version is better, and I can't imagine how, then you need to jump all over it. My car never gets over 185 degrees and any kind of driving, from drag racing to Cruising The Coast which was a lot of 5 mph cruising in bumper to bumper traffic for several hours. I highly recommend these radiators.

I would also be interested in some of these for some other Mavericks. Are you saying the tubes are 2 inches with 3 rows of them? If so these should hold a good bit more coolant than the 2 row version.

    Radiator

There is a radiator supply company in Ft. Worth, TEXAS I have used for years. Prices are good and radiators have lifetime warranty.
    Advantage Radiator Sales, 817 367 7101.

    Last Saturday I priced a new radiator for a 1995 Dodge 1500 Truck @ $109.50.

Also 1800Radiator has good prices and will deliver same or next day to your door. I800radiator had the unit in stock and delivered it to me Saturday @ 1400 hrs.

At either place tell them Jack at Aledo, Tx. referred them to get best discount.

I hope this will help some folks.

new 2 core -three row Aluminum rad

Blown 5.0, a sticky will be put up in the classified section by the end of this week with a full discription of width -lenght ,core thickness ,how many tubes ,how close the tubes are ,how many cooling fins ect ,ect.,again this rad was built as a more racing version of the last one that was sold here by the same distributor. I believe that more than 60 were sold with not one complaint and every purchaser had nothing bad to say about them . I know of two members on here who have purchased this new rad in the last week ,so we will be hereing of its looks and performance soon.(y)
