    I've had a few
Every time I try to run a search, it comes up with a blank white page with nothing but this message on it:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /home/maverick/public_html/mmb/search.php on line 1151

I never use the built-in search on message boards. The time constraint between queries bugs me, and for some reason the built-in searches on vBulletin and PhpBB just generally don't get along with me.

    Try this...

Put your search terms in Google, and add :

    site:mmb.maverick.to

It will then search only the pages it's indexed from this site. Pretty handy. It's fast, and you can abuse it all you want.

    That is what was needed.

I also looked into ways of improving the search. This will require the database to be re-indexed, which can take a while. I am going to continue to read up on this and make the switch over the holidays.
