    what, i thought everybody hated the purple mucle cars like mine.

    i know were there is one just like yours except for the grabber hood.im trying to buy it for my collection.

    i think it was a special order. i was told that purple was on lincolns in 1971 but i need to look into the paint codes on my car. as far as the long post a few months back that wasnt me

    I Pulled the grabber hood off a blue 1974, the guys at the junk yard just let me swap my regular hood for it. I don't know if I could do a purple car like you johnmav. Actually, i can't say that, i've never seen a purple mav before. You have pics bigger than the little on in your sig? Would love to see the boldness.

    Oh so bold.

    that guy was from somewhere in Oregon... he hasnt been on here for a while as far i know??? he has a very rare mav :rolleyes:

    as soon as i figure out how to put a bigger pic of my mav i will. i just wish i knew how many purple ones were built i have never seen another one like mine.

    That's pretty awesome man. I've never seen one either. I had no idea that they made purple ones from the factory. My guess is that it's probably the rarest color mav out there. (y)
