    i would think...heater control...defaulted to defrost...
the control has lost vacumn...either...hose leak/disconnected or...the plastic part of the control is broken...is this an A/C car?

ok... so... if i open the vent... of course it's cold since i get the air from outside right?
but if i close them.. i just don't get any air... hot or cold....
BUT the air blowing on the windshield is hot and strong enough...

yes it was an A/C car... but A/C not on it anymore...

how the heat core could be the problem if it's blowing hot air on the windshield?:)
    thanks for your answers...:)

    heater

When you select heat, a flap should open letting hot air out near the floor. This can get stuck shut. Pop spilling down the defrost opening will do it.

ok.. so after checking everything i just guess that the openings ON the dash are for the vent...
and the openings UNDER the dash are for the heat.

which means my heater core is working good i guess:clap:
