Is there a way to move my uploaded pix into my gallery so I don't lose them? My gallery is almost empty and my upload directory is almost full...

    Thanks!

OK, where do I find them? I've got prolly a hundred pix uploaded somewhere, all in separate threads over the past year. Is there a "repository" somewhere I'm not seeing?

    go to
    UserCP
click it, then scroll down to the bottom left hand side. There will be a click called attachments
click it and it will bring you to every pic you have posted on the forums.

Here is the direct link John is talking about.

The only way to move them to the gallery from the forum is to save them to your computer, upload them to the gallery and then delete them from the forum.

I guess that means if I delete them, whenever someone pulls up a thread there'll be a red "X". If I do move them to my gallery, will the affected thread "find" them at their new location?

Is there anyone who didn't go directly to all their photos?

There wont be a red X, but the pictures wont show. What you could do is edit your post and link to the pictures in the gallery. If you send me a PM with the threads that you would like to have their pictures moved to the gallery, ill move them for you. I can batch upload the pictures quickly.

    Stefan,

Thanks for the offer. I have all the pix on my local drive, I prolly should downsize most of them and re-upload, freeing up some of my space while not trashing the links. Is that something I can do? I hate to take up your time on something of my doing...

Save the pictures to your computer and then take look at this thread on how to resize a batch of pictures. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=28499

Next go to the thread and edit it by clicking on [IMG] and then click on "Go Advanced". Scroll down and click on "Managde Attachments". You can then delete your attacments and re-upload the smaller versions of the photos.
