73 maverick lower bumper valance

    Can anyone tell me if a 73 maverick carry a bumper lower valance and were one could be bought from new or used.

    73's have valences. the rear is the same as 70-72 cars but the front valence is unique to '73 only. no one currently has any new reproductions on the market so you'll have to find used :)

    Actually....the 1973 rear valence is slightly different than the 1970-1972 rear valence. Where the screw holes are in the mounting tab are slightly different....especially on the ends. Compare the two side by side and you will see. They can be interchangeable though courtesy of a drill.

    I have a 72 rear valance and a 73 rear valance, I did not notice the difference Craig was talking about but did notice at the corner of the top of valance were the screws go to screw it to tail light panel the ends are at about a 30 degree angle, I suppose they are that way due to the bumper filler being different on the 73.

    Dont know for sure fits 72 just fine though.

    So I learned something new today, Thanks Craig for making me look
