Alright now that i am going to have to rebuild my engine now after some unfortunate events what would your guys' suggestions be?
I have the stock 302 engine, the 289 i was using that would need a little work, a 351c that would need a little work. both the 289/351c are 30 over and have some grooves in the cylinder walls.

Here were a few of my ideas or thoughts:

    stroking the 302: 331 or 347

Putting a procharger on the 302 or 289

dont think ill go the 351c route because if i rember right you dont want to go more than 30 over on them and we would have to get rid of the grooves

Any other ideas or thoughts let me know

I believe i want to step up to pro next year, but still considering sticking around in sportsman.

Don't do the 351C!!! Waaaaay to much work.

I agree with Blown 5.0 even at 3K plus for your super charger you will be miles ahead.

If you really want to go fast do the 347 plus the blower.

    Here Honda, Honda, Honda.

I sometimes wished i went this route... after putting almost 6,599 in my 347, I could have put the money into a supercharger setup from paxton, and had better HP numbers. But, its nice to have an all engine with 400+ as well, but blowers, turbos, and centris are bragging rights i guess.

Blowing the doors off a car w/ one of those on a N/A motor is bragging rights :)

I say build a good 331 or 347 or if you want a force fed motor, build the stroker with the right cam/pistons to add it on later

It most likely will be driven to the track and solely a race car that i may be able driven 15 miles at most to the track.

If driveability is any concern then a blown setup would be best. But a 331 with your setup would get you probably in the 11's without too much of a hassel. But, i will say my car won more rounds and made more money when it ran mid to low 12's.

go with a W and stroke it.. wont really be that much more than stroking a 302.. plus you will get 150 more hp?? gve or take..

i have a 351w that i need to pick up and start working on for the winter.. but i dont have a car to throw it in.. i might just build it and turn around and sell it

His only drawback would be his intake and other parts that wont transfer over. But a 351 would make a nice engine to build.

the hole i beat your blower car with a motor only car and every other combo is kinda bs to me. in the end only the person who won, wins.
