I have a 351w out of a 84 ford f350 I bought a distributor for it and I think the oil drive shaft is bigger the the hole in the dis. my dis is a aftermarket HEI not sure of the brand. So did ford have 2 sizes of shafts? Or did I get the wrong dis point?

yes, there is two different sizes. Seems like a 351 is 3/8 and a 302 is 5/16.

the hex size is 5/16 for the 351, and 1/4 for the 221,302.
