Jimmy is so impatient with all this resizing that after he paid me big bucks ($2.50) I did it for him so he could go to bed happy happy happy! Signed Bev (Grabbergirl719)

    Sorry guys and gals!

I had to make a parts run up to Squamish on Saturday and didn't get back into the Lower Mainland until 10pm. Sunday was wasted doing yard work and had to fix my Mom's computer.

The Comet hasn't budged since I moved it over into my main garage stall, I had full intentions of getting it out for this weekend but other things just kept coming up. There's still few things I need to do if I was to run it that distance also, like the carb, I've got it running not too bad but it's just been sitting for too many years and it's got a bad hesitation when first punching the throttle (I've put a full kit into the Holley already and blew out all the passages but there must still be something in there). I hope to be working on it over the winter months as I'm looking to put collector plates on it next year (I just verified with Nigel who is the head of the Collector car program that headers and a few other things that I have on the car are ok!)

Hey, if anyone else is interested in looking into putting collector plates on and you're not sure about elegibility let me know and we'll see what we can do!

Here's hoping that we'll see the the old yellow gal out next year :thumbs2:. Cheers all!

By the way, it looks like you guys needed my yellow beast in there to break up the blue monotony:rofl2:.

I used "photobucket"...hope this works! I have a few vids of james and myself grudge racin...as well as a few pics! Shaun sent me some pics as well...so I included them on the site. Be warned...these are not professional pics or vids by any means! Most were takn by my GF's boy..who just got a digital camera! We all had a load of fun..and really wished more of us would come to these kind of thing! I was there(drove over from the Island), James and Bev(jimmy2gates), Ryan(Ryansride), Robb(Whiskey) and Shaun(Shaunmavmod)! I few of us hit the Mission springs restuartant for dinner on Sat night...what an awesome place..with awesome company! Some of us had a few problems...I felt sooo bad...but things happen! I even meet up with an old friend from Elementary school(1977 last year seen) who just happened to be racing at the moto-track! What a great time that was! James is a fantastic guy! He far exceded my expectations...as are Shaun, Robb and Ryan...I am proud to know these people and am honoured to call them friends! Anyway...here is the link to the Vids and pics: http://s370.photobucket.com/albums/oo145/grabber71/
