    Congratulations to my buddy Brent Mulvaney on best of show with his Drag N Fly. All Ford show today in East Peoria IL. Ike was in full control as pics attest. Rain, rain and more rain. Still had fun. Couple pics below. One of me in the Drag N Fly, maybe only person on earth to be in 2 different Drag N Fly's in 2008????

    Those look SO good to me.
    Even better with the cooler Comet tail lights and a Grabber styled hood. And the spoiler extending all the way across.

    Love that car. Awesome.

    They called for rain here all weekend. The All-Ford Show where I held a Maverick Mini-Meet on Saturday was slim.....only about 30 cars...but 3 of them were Mavericks....and only one of them was mine!! I think the weather forecast scared people away. Sunday they were saying would be 100% rain all day.

    Didn't get ANY rain until about 4 o-clock on Sunday.

    We had our 3rd Maverick Comet mini meet in Ontario, Canada on Sunday and it called for rain all day. It was cloudy and sunny all day back and fourth but did not rain until 5:30 pm. I think the weather man does not have a clue.
