That would be 32.6%. Thankyou Greengrabber for that info.

Finally!! Thanks for the info!! I tried to use the numbers off that other site and figure it out, but it just gave me a headache, and I think there off a bit.

Which is about 3 times the average for all Mavericks. Obviously, a greater percentage of Grabbers had the V-8 than the rest of 'em together.

I guess Jimmy is going in Class 1.

Interesting ... mine is not that detailed .... my Marti just says 9,469 were produced with my Engine/Transmission Codes ... 200/C4 ... it is not broken down by just engine.

The numbers on that site are not clear whether Grabbers were included in the totals or not ... I assume by the 11.2% number that they ARE NOT included ...

There are 3 different reports you can get. I have the Elite report, more expensive but also has the most info.

That other site didn't break it down. It simply stated that 11.2% of all Mavericks (Grabbers inclusive) had V-8 engines. That means the remaining 232,934 Mavericks had 18,530 V-8 engines. 31% of Grabbers had V-8 engines. Only 8% of the remainder had V-8 engines.

But, if the Grabbers are included in the number of the two doors, then all the figures on that site may be misconstrued.

Yeah, I know. I'm analytical. I like math. I'm in financial services and crunch numbers daily.

I asked my wife to figure it out, she whipped it out on the adding machine faster than I could open my Corona, but once it was open I lost interest. :D

Will do ... we usually park on the far end by the burnout pit ... you'll see the pit surround by cement barriers as you are pulling in ... My buddy that I go with has a 67 firebird ... and a canopy ... :D Its $10 to get in ...

Sorry for the off topic Jimmy .. but we are talking numbers and car shows ...

Is this a judged show? If it's participant voting you are wasting your money paying double .... I never heard of or seen a car being in two classes if you pay two entry fees and I've been to lots of car shows .. ... Stick with H ... you probably won't have a chance in E if the quality of street rods are anything like around here .. I personally wouldn't classify a Maverick as a street rod.

Good Luck, enjoy the show! Hopefully it won't rain, are you going to drive the car or take it on a trailer? It's always nice to show all the hard work you've put into restoring that car.

Car shows should not be about winning, they should be about showing your car to those that admire it and talking with all the people that ask you questions about it and tell you about the one they had or thier grandma had. Thats what I go for to hear the stories

Yes a lot of people have put a lot of time and money into thier cars and want recognition and deserve it but often get thier feelings hurt when some car wins that is not near as nice as thiers, some shows people will only vote for Chevy's or Mopars or members of thier car club.

So to sum it up Jimmy your car is already a winner in our books. Have fun and try not to let the smile you will have on your face give you cheek cramps.
