Now you have to figure out what caused it... is it a manual or auto transmission? The starters for the autos are a different length than the starters for the manual transmissions.
I had a strong suspicion that would be the culprit. Guessing the flywheel came out okay? The motor obviously came to an abrupt halt when that happened. Dan
flywheel's fine. i spun it around, all the teeth look good. i got a cheap pepboys starter now. it is specificaly for an auto but i'll post some pics up just so you guys can double check for me.
Does the starter match your flywheel? I thought you went with a roller motor and that uses a different tooth flywheel....
its a roller motor but i still had to get a correctly balenced 157T flywheel to use a sbf C4. the block's a '91, the C4 is original to the car with the 250/SB v8 bell bousing
