Okay... Where do you get the adapter plates? Where do you get the FE covers made for the 302? I have seen one set on eBay, long ago, that said "427" on them. Love 'em. Hope there is a set that doesn't have an engine size... Anyway, I haven't seen them since, and would love to get a set.
They're not FE covers with adapters Dave, they're small block covers with the upper contours of the pent roof 427 covers. One or more of the Cobra replica makers markets them as well as others. I don't much care for these, but the Boss covers look better than many of the other SBF covers ignore:like the retarded polished aluminum tall Ford Racing covers)
I love the shape of these covers, I would remove the BOSS letters and replace then with the maverick dash enblem. (happen to know a prety good machinist) I'm over Ford putting the boss name on non boss parts.........what ever BTW Granada's did come with BOSS 302.........my dad bought one from the dealer in 78.....LOL

I guess you have to blame the marketeers at Ford for calling everything "Boss" from trucks to Windsor engines to Larry Shonoda's old stripe kits. It's a shame, because it has really diluted the uniqueness of the Boss cars and engines. can you imagine Chevrolet calling everything a Vette? Nothing sounds like an engine breathing through Cleveland heads. it's a very different sound from that of a Windsor. I always dreamed of putting a stroked Boss 302 into a Maverick and pretty soon, I'm going to make that dream a reality.
No, Chevy just called everything a "Z" instead..............Z41, Z28, Z71, Z49, Z06, yada, yada, yada...................
Thats about as bad as a Nitro RT.... http://www.dodge.com/en/2008/nitro/models/rt/index.html ..man I think those things are ugly......
