inline 6 to 302 convertion

    hey guys i was wondering if and what i'm going to need to do to convert from the inline to the 302 like cutting/welding any special parts or brace up the front end for the 302 any help would be great thanks

    yea, do some research, its all on here some where. but to answer your question, no, theres no cutting or welding necessary

    So after skimming through that article, the 7.5 won't hold up to a V8 at all? I'm swapping a 302 into my '70 Maverick with a 7.5 and was planning to upgrade a little bit later. Will I be ok for the time being or does it need to get changed over now?

    The 7.5 will probably hold up til you get it replaced. But I would not step on it. Dp you have that much self control??

    Hey mine was an all together different question. :D I asked if I was missing anything that would I would be needing.

    But what do you expect to happen when the Maverick Mojo gets going?........It must be a FTD.....:yikes:
