From what I know this is one of none. factory 4 barrell http://www.racingjunk.com/post/1274608/Rare-1973-Ford-Maverick-Grabber-II.html
should have know there was going to be an infamous "grabber II" showing up sooner or later. after the Magazine article in Collectible AUTOMOBILE Magazine. They had a picture of a prototype Grabber II at the end of the article. A bunch of the guys at the round up got a copy of that magazine, maybe one of them with a scanner can scan the picture in and email it to the guy and see if that is the car he has..
NO Maverick ever came with a 4 barrel from the factory. That ticked me off so bad I had to put TWO on mine!
Factory V8 mavericks are a hard find, and one with the Grabber II package is almost impossible to find for sale, just take a look at the collector market and see. Almost impossible to find for sale????? Unless he owns the prototype Grabber II, I'd say it's more like Totaly impossible.
But with all that said, $1,500 is probably a very good deal for that car. That's what the ad says this morning.
"Car is all orginal with the exception of the rims, intake and carb" So how is he able to tell if it was a 4v car, i mean you never know he might be right.....It matches my maverick that came with a factory tri-power
in earlier add he said he would take less, could still be a good buy http://www.racingjunk.com/post/1258261/1973-Ford-Maverick-grabbler-2-302-2-door.html
