    he said i could have for $100 but its missing the latch, scoops and trim and i just got a grabber hood myself :)

    thursday of last week i made a visit to mikes house(yellow75) and i swapped a valence for his Grabber hood and a couple fenders. :dancing:

    made a visit to the Tillamook cheese factory too! :thumbs2:

    I've been to that Tilamook Cheese factory. Is the barn still down the road to the south that used to sell all the different kinds of sausage? We used to get cheese and sausage and there was an RV park with a store and picnic ground about 1/2 way back to Portland with a stream. Made for a nice couple of day bike ride when I had my Gold Wing.

    If that Grabber hood is in good condition (not rusty), I'm sorry, but you'd be a fool not to buy it for $100, regardless if you need it or not... I guarantee you could double or triple your money on it.

    The latch is the same as any other Maverick, and can be had for nothing, or next to nothing. The scoops are easy to find also.

    I guarantee that scoops are out there ... they don't rust.:cool:

    I've pulled two pairs out of rotten hoods in the past 20 years, and I've never owned a Mav ... just knew that "someone would want them..." and they did.

    They tend to sell for $40-$60 per pair now.
