well guys and gals ,Its Been well i quess 15 years sence ive had this feeling of wanting to be (COOL AGAIN) and my Mav has given me this back . In my opinion a none stock Grabber is a muscle car,if its got the jam and it looks like one ( a muscle car) than it is one .Ill tell you this much i would drive into any muscle car meet ,(ford, dodge ,chevy) and hold my head up high with my grabber.I cant wait to pull up in the parking lot of the local coffee shop were all the cool cars and muscle cars are and watch the great responce im going to get with my shinny little Grabber demanding attention and getting it , Its comming soon and i cant wait .cheers James
hell yeah I do it every friday around here with the local car club. there's some nice $20K-$30K cars sitting there but everyone there has respect and appreciation for my Maverick and im proud of that, and you should be too! enjoy it!
Jimmy you bring so much enthusiasm to the forum with your purchases and is very refreshing to read, I drooled on your Grabber before you ever saw it and know the sensation you are going through because I have it as well ever time I hop into one of my Mavs as I will bet most of the owners of these fine vehicle do. The Mavericks and Comets day of recogonition is here and we demand respect and we are getting it, maybe they are not considered a muscle car when they were built but we know better, with just a few mods they can run with the best of them, and are a very nice body design with clean lines.
Maverick muscle all the way! I myself always loved braket racing, and there was nothing like driving it to the track beating up on a bunch of big money cars and going out the gate at night while there all in the dark loading their trailer queens. And too top it off hardly ever see any mavs. Thay are a cool car! Enjoy that grabber man.
I hear ya brother! I got that same feeling right now. Was at the track last night...can't wait to get back tonight!!! :bananaman
Well it sounds like the track has claimed another soul, you have made the transformation from show car to go car. My wife and I have to travel 100 miles to track but we do it darn near every weekend from March until end of October, cant think of anyplace I would rather be at this point in life, we do attend a few car shows a year but they get old so we only attend special ones. BTW All Ford Drags and car show at Woodburn Dragstrip, August 17th gates open at 8:00
