I finally got a web page up to make it easier to order Maverick and Comet embroidered items. Kind of like my Grabber, one thing led to another and a simple form on a page became a complex system. (Those who have seen my Maverick at one of the Roundups or the Gathering can attest to what I am talking about... :)) I really like stuff that works automatically....:p

Anyway, I've created a system to hopefully make keeping track of all these different items far easier. Postage will be calculated automagically. I've been working on this over the course of several weeks...I've tested it quite a bit. I'm hoping it is correct, but rest assured if some crazy numbers come up, I'm not gonna hold anyone to it... ;) Let me know if that happens and I'll fix it...

Anyone who has contacted me about ordering something this time around, if you are still interested, please enter your order into the system.

Notice I also said "Comet". I was able to get a break on the price of getting the Comet logo digitized...I just need a clean copy of it to get it done...I'll get one somewhere, and we will be able to get either logo on the items.

I discovered that I was wrong earlier about Postal insurance...the $1.65 only covers up to $50 (not $500). The system is set up to calculate the correct insurance amount, and add it to your order if you want it. I'll leave it up to you to decide whether or not you want to add insurance..but if you don't and your stuff gets lost or damaged in the mail...well....:(

I've actually had good luck with the US Mail in the past, so it may be worth it to some people to save a few $$$.

I've set it up to allow up to 10 items per order because after about that many postage gets harder to calculate automatically. If for some reason someone wants to order more items than 10 at a time (hasn't happened yet :) ), please send an email directly to Webmaster@MaverickComet.com

Once you've placed an order you will be given the option to use Paypal to make a payment. Please use the button provided because it is set up to add in the Paypal fees to the total price. I know, it still sucks, but Paypal charges me to accept payments. You can also send payments via personal check or money order if you want to avoid Paypal's fees. If you want to wait to send payment until it is confirmed we have 24 items and can get the best price, you can do that too. If you send me payment and somehow the order craps out, don't worry...I'll send you your money back. :D

You will receive an order confirmation with all the information in it along with a Paypal button in it to whatever email address you specify when creating the order. If you need to look up a previously placed order or even delete it, you can do that from the site as long as you enter the email address you used when placing the order.

The site currently supports shipping to the US and Canada. Anyone from other countries (if anyone is out there) please email me directly. :)

You can return to the page to check on how close we are to 24 items...it is displayed near the top of the page. For the purposes of combining items, only the Holloway jackets are considered "jackets". The hoodies are classified as shirts.

I've tested the site with Internet Explorer and Firefox...please use either one of these browsers since I don't know for sure if it will work properly with others.

I think I've covered most things...with that, here is the link to the system:

    Cool!

I also wanted to ask if there are any other items anyone might want that aren't listed? Currently available:

Polo shirts (like those in the original order)
    T-Shirts in Men's/unisex, Women's and Children's sizes/styles
Button Down Denim Shirts in Long Sleeve/Short Sleeve Men's and Long Sleeve Women's sizes/styles
Holloway Jackets (like in the original order)
"Hoodies", in both pullover and zippered styles
"Structured" caps, which are basically like baseball hats.

I am very close to having the Comet logo done. It will definitely be available on any of the stuff above.

This may be a stupid question, but what color is the Maverick stitching?

Not stupid at all. On the jackets it is silver with a yellow outline around the steer horns. On the shirts on the last order it was black with the yellow outline on all the shirts except the black, which was silver with yellow. I want to add a few pics on the order site, but I haven't had time. The threads from the earlier order have a bunch of pics though.

THe Comet logo is not yet finalized, but it will probably be black with a silver outline on the lighter stuff and silver with a black outline on the darker stuff.

Well...I'm not sure this order is gonna fly. It's been stuck at 3 shirts 1 jacket and 1 hat since April 23rd, and two of those are Comet shirts. 2 Comet shirts are not enough to justify the cost of getting the logo digitized. If anybody else wants something, now would be the time to get on board...:)

Figured I'd give this another bump. We're up to 5 shirts and 1 jacket....
