Anyone know where to find the Muscle car coloring book pics that were posted on this site (or so I thought) some time ago? Would love to find them for my students. Thanks. John B
Not exactly, but my kids liked these..... http://www.topspeed.com/cars/-car-coloring-book-free-ar26827.html
A quick google search pulled up the following. Looks like that one American Muscle car book is the most popular one. You'll see what I mean. http://www.montessoricollection.com/Coloring_Book_American_Muscle_Cars_p/41863-4.htm http://cgi.ebay.com/Classic-Cars-of...212818092QQihZ003QQcategoryZ279QQcmdZViewItem http://www.doverdirect.com/0486418634.html http://www.hannaandme.com/productphotos.cfm?MainCat=38&SubCat=303&Product=2554&Page=1

Edelbrock has coloring books for kids. How you get them and who you contact , I don't know. Hope this helps a bit. Ron
Amazon.com also carries the same one that's in Ray's first link. i believe they have 2-3 different ones cause i remember runing across them when i work there
I have a copy of the prostreet Maverick that the MCCI used in thier past coloring contest. You would have to wait a couple days but I could email it to you, if you are not looking for Maverick specific I have one of those Edelbrock books Daydreamer mentioned. I could send it to you.
My suggestion is alittle work but you can have the cars that YOU want to color. Take pictures of the cars you like with a nice back ground xerox them onto transparency(sp?) paper then xerox that onto white papers and wha la a coloring book
To all who responded, Thanks so much for your input. You have no idea how helpful your ideas have been. I teach French at an elementary school in the country. I dont know what its like in your area, but this is not a subject that most kids see as being of value to them. As such, my daily battle is to motivate these kids as much as I can, however I can. Some of the things that I do include offering a model car club at lunch hours. I teach these kids how to paint everything first, how to work neatly, how to follow an instruction sheet. Ive won over a lot of young guys this way (relationship is so important in the classroom - if you dont have it, the kids wont work for you). Another thing I do is try to make my room somewhere that they are excited about getting to. Ive filled it with things like a terrarium with a large bearded dragon lizard that I keep at the school, a reading corner (French books, of course) with palm trees (made of carpet roll tubes and burlap wrapping), south sea travel posters and lawn chairs, and lots of curious little finds from home (fossils and such). After years of being at this school, I enjoy a very good relationship with most of the kids and their parents, but Im always looking for new tricks. These coloring pictures will be perceived as a great prize for a job well done, or an especially good round of participation. By the way, Ive downloaded the Edelbrock book from their site. Its great!!! Id love the prostreet Maverick, if thats doable. Please send it to jb_edu@hotmail.com if you dont mind. Finally, anyone know why I cant type any apostrophes in this message? Everytime I try, some little window, or whatever you call it, opens at the bottom of my browser. It says "quick find". Whats this? Thanks again for everything....John B
I wonder if its your keyboard language setting on your computer. Do you switch it between French and English?
