Thanks guys! By the way. I know why there isnt much rust on the car. The under carriage is COVERED in grease. Leaks may bug the crapola out of me but they do a great job of rust prevention i will tell ya. haha
Those were before and after pics. I sanded it down to bare metal. The rust would have made it all "texture" like and look like sh**.
theres certain spots i just couldnt get to it and spots where i screwed up the paint (hit it while it was wet) between coats. trust me I sanded it down. i wouldnt just paint over it. if you got a way to make it cleaner and get to the tight areas let me know. Im all ears. Also too. Some of it has eaten little dimples out in the metal like on the shock towers. You got a remedy for that too? edit: and i only have so much time in a day. i sand spots paint some sand more paint some more. Im not perfect. I never will be. Some spots will have rust underneath it. All of which I dont get too is surface. I also dont see a problem with painting over what I cant get too. Maybe its cause "I'm a kid"
I been eatin the wire brushes up. And the wheel doesnt seem to be taking it down to metal and leaves weird low spots between the old paint and metal. Do I just need to hit the spots longer with it?
if you were going for ...looking better...you got it. the only way to get it all...take it apart... ...:Handshake...
