Okay- This part is on the front of the manifold. It is an elbow that screws into the manifold and has a hose connect to it that provides antifreeze/ water. I am putting in a new manifold and in taking this out of the old one, I hacked it up abit and it looks like crap. Autozone said they dont have them. What are they called? Autozone just told me to buy some 3/8" brass fittings which I can do. But the original has a extension that goes into the manifold. It is not a sensor. Water goes through it. It looks like a hash pipe. You think I can get by with fittings. Your thoughts are appreciated.
Summit and Jegs have a decent selection of heater hose fittings as well. You ARE talking about the small hose not the great big one going to the radiator right?
We have a national parts depot, 4 miles from my house they had an exact replacement in chrome. Stopped by at lunch time. Thanks
