It was great meeting Mike and Dan. Mike and I have very similar stories on getting back to playing with cars after 25+ years. Dan was sneaky and took care of the breakfast ticket before Mike and I knew it. Thanks, Dan. Next breakfast is on me. Mike's wife is a hoot and loves Mavericks. They both wanted my jacket. In person, I have met only great people involved with Mavericks. Ain't it great!
It took Mike and I most of the morning to draw Terry out of his shell so he would talk to us... Once he did start talking, you could tell he knew what he was talking about. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Mike has a beautiful home, shop, and family. And quite an impressive stable of Mavericks. Both are very nice guys. A Saturday morning well spent.
It took you guys a while to get Terry out of his shell? Weid he talked a lot when we visitied.. not shy. He did get several business calls while there however. Seemed to know what he was talking about there also
He knew what he was talking about??? Must be a different Terry. I thought you were talking about Hawkco!
Man! I went from feeling special to feeling beat up in less than a minute. That's not fair. Sheesh. Having Ray for a friend is like have two mother-in-laws. I'm back in Atlanta this evening.
...get him to tell you the story about the...mavericks...he has driven... short story...but funny ...
I'm bettin your other mother-in-law don't drive a Maverick though so I'd certainly be your favorite!!!
