Welcome aboard! :) We have a lot of other Mexicans on here so they may be able to better help you. They might even have some parts close to you there in Mexico. I'm sure you will hear from them very soon.

Thanks I see you realy know about this cars, So I ask you something:

I dont know if ford use (in 1977) the color black in exteriors, Im worried because here the goverment gives a special conditions for the owners of clasicc cars but they ask for a restoration of 80% or up. And the color its part of this estimation and if I paint it whit a non original color (original of the trade and year) I could lose points.
What do you thing about this color chart?

You want to paint it black. Are you saying your goverment does not want you to paint the car black just because that is not original? :hmmm:
I would think their special condition would mean to not modify the body maybe. Why would they care about what color you paint it? I don't understand that.

Welcome to the board, please explain what kind of special conditions you can get. I dont understand, you can paint it any color, as long as it was a stock color? But you do not have to paint it the original color? Will you need to remove the rear spoiler, hood scoop, side exhaust, and mag wheels and put back original stuff to get special considerations from the government? You can put stripes on if it didnt originally have them?

    :Welcome:

I, too, don't understand this points system. Why would they care how original the car appears to be?

they probably want it to appear stock

"red" would be ok but some big lowrider mural down the side might not be im guessing?

like here in DE most of the car has to be stock to get classic tags. i couldnt roll down the DMV with a 460 open header pro stock maverick and get classic tags but alot of times they'll let the primer buckets through. sounds like its a simular situation down there except alot more strict

That's dumb... just because it's modified does not mean it's not a classic car. What if it's a period correct built hotrod?

In GA, it dosen't matter if there isn't one original bolt left on the car... If the car is older then 25 years old, you can register it as an antique vehicle. They also issue them to cars that were designed and built to just LOOK like old cars, like the fibreglass reproduction bodys and stuff out there. You could literally have a car that was built yesterday to look like a '32 Ford, and GA will issue you an antique tag for it.
