Heloooo everyone, first time poster, former Mav owner lookin for another one pretty soon. Had to sell the first one due to that nasty "D" word. So I finally joined cause I found the photos of mine the other day and Ive seen the forum and it got me thinking....it was a great car, good on gas even with a V-8 at todays prices, easy to find, low price vs anything else Barret Jackson might show to be next weeks flavor, and parts sources/cars are pretty good and easy to find -5 in my area alone! (I tried to restore a 70 cougar 2 yr ago..let me tell ya, they dont hardly make anything for those!) so with that in mind awhile back in a trader I saw a white 72 Grabber with gold stripes and Mag 500's (Ive held on to the ad cause it just looked so darn nice, wife thinks its a girlie pic in my wallet!) so I was wondering if anybody had a pic of that combo or anything simular in their photo deck they could post so I could have a nice screen saver or just something to gawk at till I get another Thanks for having me! Welcome aboard...this is the place to be. I think if you search our gallery, you may find pics of a car with those colors. I've seen them a few times. Seems like there might be one in the section for Round-Up pics.
No problem. I may even have a few more shots of it if you want me to do a little digging. I'm pretty sure I took a few also because I was there.
Dan, I'm down here in Champaign, 2 hrs south of chi town (ILLINI-WE BEAT OHIO!!) and by the way Dan, veerry nice stallion! Love the look! Its also one of my screen savers. This week I plan to upload some of mine. A green 72 with ranger wheels. God I miss that car. Funny thing is, the guy I sold it to still had it in his garage about a year ago -drove by it going to work alot.
