    Nice Purchase!

It's a great thing when your wife supports your hobbies ... I have been on both sides of that fence. I'm on the good side of it now. :thumbs2:

Yeah you got that right. Two things this car has that I have NEVER had on a CAR, (have on a truck) The two things are True Duals and a Manual Tranny behind a V8. Have had V8 Trucks with a manual tranny and have had Duals on a truck but never on a car with a V8...... Even My Blue Maverick with the V8 was Automatic with single exhaust.. I think it sounded better than duals with the Suppertrapp but it was single and an Automatic)

I Absolutely LOVE driving the Yellow Mav with the 6 cyl auto, power steering and the A/C on as my daily drive but Really after having that V8 Mav, year ago I just couldn't do without one with the V8 and since I do love shifting gears sooo much I had to have the Manual tranny.

Dad and I are leaving Saturday Afternoon and heading down and getting a room (he doesn't like to drive straight through) and then getting up Sunday and supposed to get to the guys house to pick it up Sunday around 9:30 -10:00 and should be back home in time for dinner and a show. :bananaman

    Congrats!
I'll jump on the bandwagon and welcome you to the '302-4 speed club'! ;)

I read through the ad, but it never said what 4 speed was in it.
Hope it was a wide ratio Toploader! Those are the best mannered and fun to drive.
However, a 3+OD Toploader (ultra-wide ratios) will be more fuel economical.

When I spoke to the guy on the phone he said that it was from a 70's Mustang ?? so I figure she'll be alright and fun to drive until I am ready to move up to a T5 but that definetly won't be for a long while....
