Welcome to the board. Just an FYI, this forum is for the Ford Maverick and the 71-77 Mercury Comet. So the information that you will find here is directly pertaining to those cars. If you need information directly about your car then it would be in your best interest to join a Mustang forum. But you're welcome to stick around.

Bah. Don't be so hard on yourself. Both "Maverick" and "Mustang" starts with an M. :Handshake

The spelling police will be by later to enforce the correct spelling of "illiterate" too.

    anyway.

How did this thread squeeze past me?

I have ample experience in GT40-P heads on the 302 engines. Feel free to PM me for any help, or just click on the link to my website or search on the forum for stuff I have encountered with them.

The P heads flow GREAT if you are willing to deal with some spark plug and header fitting issues.

I also have another project going on now where I am trying to increase the lift on my valves (Ps stop around .500, I am trying to squeeze .530 out of them). So, welcome to this forum...

Like I do when I shop at the local Mustang parts house for stuff for my Maverick, just ask questions vaguely describing your issue, and make them "sound" maverick related, and you should get good answers. I have to tell the Mustang guy I have a 67 Mustang, otherwise he tells me "We don't sell Maverick parts, go away!!!"
